Today's Inspiration.

If I'm correct, this pic is circa 1970 of Andy at Adex dumps

We're back....

We actually haven't been away. Well, I just finished my first semester at CCS and now begins the push to get the '59 to AutoRama. I'll be clear coating the frame today and tomorrow we are re-sandblasting the suspension components and priming them. Hopefully, once those pieces are gloss black, we'll be bolting them on and getting closer to getting the body back on. The first pic is of my Taildragger project for modelmaking class.

I wish I could carve like this....

Updates!!!!

Hey everyone. Sorry about the lack of updates. Going to school at CCS has been good so far, much better than doing papers and math homework too. I've gathered a bunch of good plans for the '53 truck....just think of a mild custom and bomb mixed. We've been making progress on the Impala too, just metal-finishing away, Just wait 'til Autorama and you'll see. Next weekend is the Hunnert Car Pile-Up in Morris, Ill. We'll be cruising the Camino down there, definently to come back with some great memories. Stay tuned, I'll try to update more often.
Later.

Be there!

A New Mill for the '53????

Who We Are.

Fox Custom is a father(Don) and son(Zach) who customize cars, fool around with Jeeps, and cruise old school lowriders. The cars are built to the best of our abilities with the resources we have. The
idea of "fox custom" has been around ever since my dad started spraying candy on
his Kawasaki 900 back in '77 and cruised it to high school in the spring. Besides the 900 Kaw, he's also cruised a '71 454 Chevelle his senior year, chopped and channeled his '35 Ford tudor fresh out of high school, and I could continue to ramble about the list for hours. Being around cool cars since I was a baby, I used to draw them
in class, dream about Westergard taildraggers while sitting in Physics, and would read Rod&Custom while most kids were playing soccer.

The current line-up includes:
1.)The Camino...('79 Camino, bagged, Supremes, rabbit ears)
2.)The Chubby Chebby...('53 Chevy 3100, de-arched springs, all lead sunken antennas, flake dash....plans of an entire rebuild are in the works)
3.)Current Project...('59 Impala 4door sedan, 75% frame wrap, Screaming MiMi aircraft hydraulic setup, pinner whites on '60 Impala hubcaps, and much more)

We will do our best to keep this site regularly updated with good stuff. So stay tuned and check back often. Thank you.
